Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to join me here as I embark on this journey! As we have heard countless times before COVID-19 has definitely put a damper on many plans and expectations of people around the globe, myself included. This website has been delayed (about two years in the making). I am so grateful to be able to get it up and running and to share my love of travel and literature with anyone who is willing to pick up their cellphone, login to their computer or tablet and read! So let's talk about exactly what it is you will find here,  hm?

The portion of the website that is open to all is the meat & potatoes: The District Chronicles. This is my column where I discuss travel, dating, love, sex and so much more. This column follow the life and times of João Santos, your average 30 something trying to make it in Chocolate City. You will laugh, you will cry, you will likely have plenty of steamy content. 

The "Members Only" content (because why wouldn't there be?) is going to be a bit more fantasy. Where the District Chronicles will explore the life as we know it, Entering Aterja will explore life set in a fictional world. As you might've surmised I will be writing my fictional pieces here. It will be a mixture of shorts, poems, and other creative writings that I have strung together over the years.
